Introducing Deep Tissue Massage: A New Way to Release Tension and Feel Your Best
We’re excited to announce a new addition to our menu of services: Deep Tissue Massage. Whether you’re dealing with nagging muscle tightness, recovering from an intense workout, or simply carrying stress in your shoulders and back, this treatment is designed to help you feel real, lasting relief.
What Is Deep Tissue Massage?
Unlike a lighter, relaxation-focused massage, deep tissue massage uses slow, firm strokes and targeted pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s especially effective for breaking up muscle knots, releasing chronic tension, and improving mobility in areas that tend to hold the most stress — think neck, shoulders, and lower back.
If you’ve ever finished a massage feeling like it barely scratched the surface, deep tissue work is built to go further.
Two Ways to Experience It
We’re offering two session lengths so you can choose what fits your needs and your schedule:
30-Minute Session
A focused treatment targeting one or two specific problem areas. This option is perfect if you’re short on time, dealing with a specific trouble spot, or want to add deep tissue work onto another service.
60-Minute Session
A full-body treatment that gives us time to work through multiple areas of tension. This is the better choice if you’re managing chronic pain, recovering from physical activity, or want a more complete, immersive experience.
Not sure which is right for you? Our therapists are happy to help you decide based on what you’re dealing with.
The Benefits of Deep Tissue Massage
• Relieves chronic muscle tension and pain by working directly on tight, overworked muscles
• Improves circulation, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients to tissues that need it
• Increases mobility and range of motion, especially in stiff or overworked areas
• Supports athletic recovery by reducing soreness and helping muscles repair
• Reduces stress and promotes better sleep, thanks to the release of built-up tension
• Helps with postural issues caused by sitting, desk work, or repetitive movement
A quick note: it’s normal to feel some mild soreness for a day or two after a deep tissue session — similar to how you might feel after a good workout. Staying hydrated before and after your appointment can help.
Is Deep Tissue Massage Right for You?
This treatment is a great fit if you deal with chronic tension, muscle tightness, limited mobility, or you’re active and looking to support recovery. As always, please let us know about any health conditions — including pregnancy, blood clotting disorders, recent surgeries, or skin conditions — before your session so we can tailor the treatment safely to you.

We can’t wait to help you feel lighter, looser, and more like yourself. Book your 30 or 60-minute Deep Tissue Massage today and experience the difference deeper pressure can make.
